I’ve been thinking a lot about life lately.
Last month I attended the ProBlogger conference where we were challenged to “find your why”. Rather pathetically, given I’m 45, I had never really considered that before. While I am still not sure what my why is, I’m working on it – I shared my thoughts here.
Then, a couple of weeks later, I attended the Mayo Clinic’s Healthcare in Social Media conference.
One of the speakers, Marie Ennis O’Connor, showed this career hierarchy diagram from the peeps at Gaping Void. It instantly resonated.
I want to live my life from adventure to adventure.
It’s why I quit my not-very-thrilling government job to start consulting nine years ago.
It’s why I started blogging more than five years ago.
It’s why I crave the freedom to do what I want to do with my life.
Because life should be an adventure.
And I want to live it.
From adventure to adventure.

Yes yes yes….and another yes. This is exactly- and I mean exactly- what I was telling a friend yesterday that I wanted. Love it.
